"What a magical place. Living on a private walled estate with orange and banana trees just minutes to great restaurants. The house was charming with lots of space and modern amenities. We would definitely stay here again and hope to soon. Just minutes to the waterfalls too"

The magnificent spectacle of these 275 individual drops has awed tourists, locals and indigenous inhabitants for centuries. They originate from the Iguazu River and are located on the border of Brazil (in the state of Paraná) and Argentina.
They are the largest waterfalls system in the world. The falls divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu. The Iguazu River rises near the city of Curitiba. For most of its course, the river flows through Brazil, however, most of the falls are on the Argentine side.
it's worth seeing the falls from both sides. Clearly, they're different but beautiful and equally worthwhile.

Parque Das Aves
The Bird Park (Parque Das Aves in Portugese), located in the town of Foz do Iguacu, near the famous Iguacu Falls . This world-class Bird Park is situated on 16 hectares (40 acres) of native subtropical forest and provides shelter for around a thousand birds (160 species) as well as butterflies and humming birds from both all South America and other exotic places.
What is different about this park when compared to other zoos or similar parks is that the most of the cages are huge and the birds and animals can roam and fly free. Also, it's possible to enter those enclosures and admire all the beauty of the exotic colorful birds: wide variety of parrots, toucans, eagles, owls and others. It's a perfect place for photography as there's no fence between the camera and the object so the photos look as if they were taken in the natural, original environment. Toucans even seem to pose for photographs.
Location: at the entrance to the Iguassu National Park, Brazil
Tips :
It's perfectly possible to visit the Bird Park on the way to Iguassu Falls (Brazil) on the same day, it will take around 1,5 hour to see the entire park.
